February arrived with a breeze of cold air,
A silent shadow brushing everywhere.
Time passed, as if old,
Yet it wasn't winter that made it cold.
A weight settled over me, thoughts were heavy,
Each one of them staggered and unsteady.
I wasn't myself, my soul was lost,
Nowhere to go but the bitter frost.
Through the mist, my eyes caught a light;
Nearing the end, it glowed so bright.
Alas, alas, a moment of bliss:
Our lips met — a splendid kiss!
